Jess Roper McLamb
President and Founder
As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, Jess helps business owners create the financial information they need to make sound business decisions. For 20 years, she has worked with attorneys, healthcare providers, retailers, realtors, contractors, and other service providers to clean up their QuickBooks file and teach them to understand the numbers for their business.
April has over ten years of experience using QuickBooks and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Livingstone College. She has worked with a variety of clients in various industries since joining Roper Bookkeeping in 2010. As a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, her clients include medical and dental practices, wholesale companies, and service providers.
Doris joined Roper Bookkeeping in December 2016 and has over 25 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience. Prior to joining Roper, Doris worked with a CPA firm for almost 15 years where her clients included an assortment of industries such as restaurants, retail, construction, medical and legal practices and other service providers. As a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Doris is committed to bringing all of her experience and extensive skill set to work for your business.
Anny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has more than 25 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. Her client base includes healthcare providers, attorneys, restaurants, construction firms and many others. Anny joined Roper Bookkeeping in 2011 and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
Debbie has over 25 years of experience in the accounting world, assisting small to medium sized businesses in several industries, including non-profits. She is also an evening instructor at Wake Technical Community College for the Continued Education Division instructing QuickBooks and Microsoft classes. Debbie joined Roper Bookkeeping in 2015 and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
Maria has over 30 years of accounting experience, including 10 years using QuickBooks, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She worked for 13 years in the accounting department of a furniture manufacturer, followed by positions at other manufacturing firms, retail companies and public accounting firms.
Susan has over 35 years of business and customer service experience. When she quit work to be a full time mom, she and her mother opened a small ceramic shop. It was there that Susan first used QuickBooks. Since returning to the business world, she has been a QuickBooks bookkeeper for the private sector for the past 15 years. She joined Roper in June, 2016 and is currently working on completing her Pro Advisor Certification and getting to know her clients.
Janet has many years of experience working in customer service and office administration for organizations such as Rappahannock Electric, Lockheed Martin, and Edison State University in Virginia. After relocating to NC, she joined Roper Bookkeeping in December 2013. She provides assistance to our staff and keeps us on track in addition to taking care of our clients and the non-profit organizations that Roper Bookkeeping supports.
