Jess Roper McLamb | President and Founder
Jess is the president and founder of Roper Bookkeeping and has more than 30 years of accounting, management and training experience as a senior officer in financial services. Jess graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math then attended North Carolina State University for post-graduate accounting courses. As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, her clients include healthcare providers, medical spas, service providers and retail companies. Jess is a volunteer instructor for SCORE and teaches various small business classes at local community colleges. She is a past president and treasurer of the Greater Raleigh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and she founded the Wake County Women Business Owner’s Network.
April Hamilton | Bookkeeper
April has over ten years of experience using QuickBooks and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Livingstone College. She has worked with a variety of clients in various industries since joining Roper Bookkeeping in 2010. As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, her clients include medical and dental practices, wholesale companies, and service providers.
Anny Jacoby | Bookkeeper
Anny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has more than 25 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. Her client base includes healthcare providers, attorneys, restaurants, construction firms and many others. Anny joined Roper Bookkeeping in 2011 and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. Anny is also the founder and owner of The Realistic Female Self-Defense Company and Project Safe Girls, a Certified Self-Defense Instructor.
Marianne Ward| Bookkeeper
Marianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Elon University and has more than 25 years of experience in the accounting field. She worked for Roper Bookkeeping through a temp agency for several months before joining the company in 2012. As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, she works with retail companies, attorneys, contractors, and other service providers.
Marlene Mazza| Bookkeeper
Marlene holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and has more than 30 years of experience in the accounting field. Prior to moving to NC, she was a CPA in Florida. She joined Roper Bookkeeping in 2012 and her clients include IT companies, non-profits, and other service providers.
Jean Dasnoit | Administrative Assistant/Marketing Rep.
Jean has over 15 years of experience providing administrative assistance to recruiters and sales teams and has been working to provide that same quality assistance to the Roper Bookkeeping staff since she joined the company in 2011. Jean is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and is the president for The Concerned Bikers Association of Raleigh.
Donna Greico | Bookkeeper Assistant
Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of North Carolina and a Master’s degree in Management from North Carolina State University. She has been a member of the Roper Bookkeeping team since 2009, providing bookkeeping assistance to our staff and handling our company books.
